The total number of vacancies to be recruited through the NDA 2 exam has been released along with the official notification of the UPSC NDA 2022 exam on 18th May 2022. UPSC NDA 2 2022 Eligibility Criteria-

The candidates must hold the minimum qualification to be eligible for Defence Jobs. Below we have mentioned the details for Education Qualification, Age Limit, Nationality, and Physical Standards.

 

NDA Education Qualification

For Army Wing of National Defence Academy: The candidate should be 12th pass/HSC or equivalent examination from a State Education Board or a University

For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: The candidate should have completed their 12th Class/HSC or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics from a State Education Board or a recognized University

 

NOTE: The candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination are too eligible to appear in the UPSC NDA examination.

 

Nationality

The candidates must be unmarried male/female and should be:


a Citizen of India, or

a Subject of Bhutan, or 

a Subject of Nepal, or

a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India

 

Physical Standards

The candidates must be physically fit as per the physical standards for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy. They should be able to fulfill the following criteria:

UPSC NDA 2 2022 Selection Process-

UPSC NDA 2 is the examination process that is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission to provide the opportunity to the youth of the country who wish to join defence jobs. The selection for defence jobs through NDA 2 Exam 2022 will be conducted in two stages:

 

Written examination

Intelligence & Personality Test (SSB)

A candidate who qualifies in a written examination will be called for a personality test which will be conducted to check the intelligence and personality. NDA 2 SSB Interview 2022

The SSB Interview will be conducted for assessing the Intelligence and Personality Test tentatively from January 2023 to April 2023. NDA II Answer Key 2022

The answer key for UPSC NDA II Exam will be released officially after the conduction of the written test. The commission will be issuing a provisional answer key first to which the candidates can submit their objections. After the assessment of the provisional answer key and objections, the final answer key will be released.

 

NDA II Result 2022

The result of the written test will be released around a month later after the conduction of the NDA-II 2022 Exam with the names of candidates shortlisted for the interview round. The commission will be releasing the merit list of candidates selected for the admission to Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of NDA and Indian Naval Academy Courses (INAC) of the NDA for the 150th Course and for the 112th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) after the SSB Interview process.

 

UPSC NDA Cut off 2022

The cutoff for the written exam and final selection is released after the declaration of the final result. NDA Cut Off marks for the written exam will be calculated out of 900. The final cutoff marks are calculated on the basis of marks scored by the last recommended candidates out of 1800 marks (900 marks for the written exam and 900 marks for the SSB Interview). What is CDS Exam?

The Combined Defence Services or CDS Examination is conducted under the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year to recruit candidates into the Indian Naval Academy, Officers Training Academy (OTA), Indian Military Academy, and Indian Air Force Academy.

CDS 2 2022 Eligibility: Age Limit

The candidate applying for the CDS Combined DefenceServices Exam 2022 must fulfill the age criteria as per the official notification. The age criteria are provided below.

Male aspirants who are unmarried and fulfill the criteria of citizenship born not earlier than January/ July 2, 1999, and not later than January/ July 1, 2004, are eligible to apply for the Indian Naval Academy and Indian Military Academy.

Aspirants who fulfill the citizenship criteria and are born not earlier than January/ July 2, 1999, and not later than January/ July 1, 2003, can apply for Air Force Academy.

Unmarried male aspirants who fulfill the criteria of citizenship and are born not earlier than January/ July 2, 1998, and not later than January/ July 1, 2004, are eligible For Officers’ Training Academy (SSC Course for men).

Unmarried women, widows, and divorcee aspirants and not remarried and also who fulfill the citizenship criteria and are born not earlier than January/ July 2, 1998, and not later than January/ July 1, 2004, are eligible For the Officers’ Training Academy (SSC Women Non-Technical Course).

 

CDS 2022 Eligibility: Educational Qualifications

For Indian Naval Academy: Aspirants must have a degree in the engineering field from a recognized university/ institution or any other equivalent to apply to the Naval academy.

For Air Force Academy: Aspirants must have a bachelor's Degree with maths and physics as compulsory subjects or a bachelor's in engineering field from any university or institute or any other equivalent to apply to the air force academy.

For Officers Training Academy and Indian Military Academy: Aspirants must have a bachelor's degree in any field from a recognized university or any other equivalent to apply to India Military Academy (IMA) and Officers’ Training Academy.

For OTA and I.M.A: The candidate must have a relevant degree from a recognized university in the state of India.

CDS Exam Admit Card 2022

The CDS admit card will be released by the UPSC on the UPSC’s official website usually 10 to 15 days before the exam. Aspirants will get a separate admit card for both papers.

Applicants should download their admit card and check it carefully if there is any mistake in any of the details, the aspirant must inform the UPSC immediately through the mail.
