National Defence Academy (NDA) is a National Level Test organized by Union Public service Commission (UPSE) to recruit candidates for Indian armed forces. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) to recruit candidates for Army, Navy, and Air Force wings. The exam is conducted twice a year. The NDA selection process is of two stages - a written exam and SSB Interview. The NDA 1 2022 written exam will be conducted on April 10, 2022, for several vacancies.

The selection process of NDA 2022 involves the following stages:

Written Exam
SSB Interview
Written Examination
Candidates who will complete the application process completely will be able to attend the written exam. 
The written examination is the first stage of the selection of candidates.
NDA 2022 is a 900 marks test further divided into two sections- Mathematics and General Ability Test.
The duration of the exam is 180 minutes comprising objective type questions.
Minimum qualifying marks are decided by the commission for participating in the selection process.
Qualifying candidates have to sit for the interview consisting of Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence or Personality test.

NDA Selection Process 2022:

SSB Interview
Candidates who will secure the cutoff marks of the written exam will be invited for the SSB interview round.  Candidates in SSB Interview are assessed on Officers Potentiality. Candidates who apply for Air Force need to qualify Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS).
The SSB Interview round comprises two separate tests – Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test.
The qualifying candidates have to be put to the stage for tests on the first day of reporting at Selection Centres.
Only those candidates who qualify at stage 1 will be called for the remaining tests.

Following are the detailed information with some key instructions about NDA 2022 Application Form:

Applicant can apply for NDA through online mode on the website.
For 1st session, NDA 2022 application form has been released on 22nd December 2021 and last date for submission will be till 11th January 2022.
For 2nd session, application form will be released on 18th May 2022 and last date will be till 14th June 2022.
Candidates must fill application form very carefully as no correction facility will be provided later.
Candidates must submit application form before last date of submission. Once last date will be passed application form portal will get closed.
Application form will be available in two parts.

In Part -1, candidates must fill personal information and educational information.
In part-2 of application form, candidates will have to upload photograph, signature, payment, etc.
Candidates can withdraw their application from 18th to 24th January 2022.
NDA 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria to apply for NDA is given below.

Age Criteria:
Applicant age must be within 16.5 – 19.5 years. For NDA-1, applicant must born after July 2, 2003 and before July 1, 2006. And for NDA-2 applicant must be born after January 2nd, 2004 and before January 1st, 2007.

Gender: Male & Female both candidates are eligible for NDA 2022 examination.

Qualification: Passed 10th & 12th level from a recognized board or university. Physics and Mathematics subjects are compulsory for students applying for Air force and naval wing.
NDA & NA (1) 2022 Exam will be conducted by Union Public Service Commission to fill 400 Vacancies (35 Vacancies for female candidates in Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 149th Course, and for the 111th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). UPSC NDA & NA
